It’s been a pleasure working on ‘Fear and Fever’, a historical comic about typhoid in Dublin with the wonderfully talented Carly Collier and Claas Kirchhelle! 😊
A collaboration between University College Dublin, University of Oxford, Royal College of Physicians Ireland, Dublin City Library and Archive, and part of the “Typhoidland” project.
The comic is available to read on their website, and is also for sale in physical form through the RCPI shop, as well as through Forbidden Planet Dublin and Dublin City Comics and Collectibles.

I was delighted to be interviewed on the radio by Oliver Callan about the project too – you can listen back here to the interview!

It is also available in all Dublin libraries, and classroom sets will be available to borrow for Dublin based secondary school teachers via the Class Novels initiative!
